Celebrities cherished the moments at Annual Cancer Patients Day

Celebs at the _Care for Cancer Patients - Annual Day Event_ organised by NGO Vishwas shown to user

NGO Vishwas organized Annual Cancer Patients Day on September 19, 2015 with Hinduja Hospital’s support, which is situated at Bhaidaas Audi, Juhu- Mumbai.

Numerous celebrities like Adaa Khan, Gunjan Uttreja, Jia Manek, Mantra, Mir Ranjan Negi, Mrunal Jain, Ragini Khanna and Tina Dutta came forward to be a part of this smile bringing initiative, organized for Cancer fighters. 200 Doctors, 600 cancer patients and their families came together to make this occasion unforgettable.

Ragini Khanna danced with Cancer kids after giving a try to stage singing for the first time in her life. Singing sensations like Shabbir Kumar and Suresh Wadekar made doctors and patients danced to their tunes which was a heart whelming moment for everyone present over there. This enthusiastic celebration made them forget about their pain and sufferings from Chemo sessions.

NGO Vishwas provides temporary housing solutions to those cancer patients who come to metro cities from their rural or suburb areas and stay for the treatment. Due to lack of resources and their inability to afford the city life, many patients don’t complete their treatment and go back to their native place. NGO Vishwas help these patients to come over this problem.

Founder of NGO Vishwas, Mr.Suresh Agrawal was touched by the fact that patients, who were in pain, went back home smiling. After providing shelter to few Cancer patients, NGO Vishwas is now working on creating a housing complex, where patients and their families can stay till the treatment get over.

Manisha Koirala, who has survived Cancer successfully, was also present on the occasion to make cancer patients aware about the importance of hygiene during the treatment. She also mentioned that after winning the battle against cancer she wanted to help others and motivate them to face the disease with confidence and courage. She also pledged to join this movement with NGO Vishwas and asked people to come forward and help in making the dream of cancer free India possible.
