It is often being said that with great power comes great responsibility. This axiom is perfectly personified by Mr. Ashok Chaturvedi led Uflex, as the company has been very sincerely fulfilling all its responsible business practices. Corporate Social Responsibility is a significant initiative that is being taken by corporates today. Companies are associating with various NGOs in order to help weaker or deprived sections of the society. An equally genuine and compelling intention is exhibited by Uflex as the company has associated with the NGO Stairs.

Uflex has forged an association with Stairs which is an NGO working for the welfare of underprivileged kids. Stairs works at three levels: helping kids imbibe life skills through the medium of sports, imparting them education and providing them with the basic healthcare facilities. This tripartite functionality of the NGO has helped many kids devoid of ample resources in many parts of the country.

Uflex in association with Stairs has organized many cricket championships for underprivileged kids for the past five years. These tournaments serve as a platform for these kids to learn and showcase their talent in the field of sports. It is really significant that Uflex and Stairs don’t only focus on academics but have an equal emphasis on extracurricular activities. Many children who excel in sports are selected and provided exclusive training, sports scholarships and sports gear.

Uflex has been financially facilitating for a big part of the sports scholarships, sports training and also the education expenses of a certain pre-decided number of children. Uflex has also sponsored Cricket Championships since December 2010 and has recently organized a 5-day sporting festival in Himachal Pradesh along with stairs.
