Nayati Healthcare dedicates 200 beds to fight against COVID-19

The largest private medical care provider in Uttar Pradesh, Nayati Healthcare & Research Pvt Ltd recently dedicated 200 beds for the special treatment of COVID-19 patients at their medical unit, Nayati Medicity in Mathura.

The 200 beds include 102 dedicated ICU, HDU beds and 98 isolation beds. Amid a surge in coronavirus infected patients in the state, this move is believed to control the situation. Nayati Hospital Agra has already been converted into a Level 1 Quarantine Centre after the instruction of UP government, however, Level 2 and Level 3 coronavirus cases will be taken care of by Nayati Medicity Mathura.

Nayati Medicity is a 377 bedded super-specialty quaternary care hospital in Mathura with various speciality departments. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for the treatment of cancer patients in tier 3 cities. It is NABH accredited and primary tertiary care super-speciality hospital serving a large community.

Chairperson of the Nayati group, Niira Radia claimed that the group is equipped to serve around 1500-2000 coronavirus patients in 8 to 12 weeks. Three levels of triaging are finalized and patients are being screened in separate zones. She also acknowledged the efforts of medical professionals and appreciated their hard work for showcasing a strong commitment towards fighting the pandemic.

Nayati Healthcare has created and executed an isolation process for COVID-19 cases in order to curb the virus effectively. The healthcare group is also ensuring that the operations of the hospital emergency services do not get affected due to any reason. Several measures like the segregation of lifts and other facilities for COVID-19 patients arriving at the hospital are already implemented.

Coronavirus outbreak has already declared a pandemic and over 200,000 positive cases and 8,000 deaths across the globe are already reported.
