Uflex Khelo Dilli’s players made it to international tournaments

Uflex has collaborated with the NGO Stairs to help underprivileged kids realize their dreams. As Uflex has been sincerely fulfilling all its responsible business practices, what stands as a testimony to this fact is the following. Two talented players, who were a part of Uflex Khelo Dilli, had been selected to participate in the Indian Sepak Takraw team participating in International Sepak Takraw Federation and Asian Sepak Takraw Federation Super Series India-2013 (ISTAF Super Series INDIA-2013). The tournament was held in New Delhi in August-September 2013.

It is a matter of great honor for Uflex and Stairs that the two players were selected for an international championship. They are Sandeep Kumar and Dheeraj Kumar and were selected from the Majnu Ka Tilla center of the NGO. The children associated with the NGO regularly practice as a part of Uflex Khelo Dilli in the sport centers by Uflex and Stairs that have been established near the colonies of the children’s residence.

Another matter of great pride for the company and the NGO is that  four players from these centers had also been selected to play Sepak Takraw in Asian Games 2014 which was held in South Korea in September 2014.

Mr. Ashok Chaturvedi, Chief Managing Director of Uflex Ltd., was really delighted that their efforts in association with Stairs have helped these talented kids reach the international playgrounds. These achievements will definitely make them continue helping underprivileged children realize their dreams. It is only through children’s own talent and belief themselves that they touch such great heights. Uflex and Stairs are only mediums to help them realize their true potential.
