As a part of its 42nd Foundation Day celebrations, Subrata Roy-led Sahara India Pariwar distributed blankets among needy senior citizens at an old age home in Deepugarha, Hazaribagh (Jharkhand).
The blanket distribution was overseen by Sahara India Hazaribagh PFM Sanjay Arya, Franchise Manager Rakesh Lal, FM Rajiv Lal, Amar Singh, Guddu Kumar, Ajay Kumar Yadav, Naval Yadav, Manoj Kumar, Rajiv Kumar, and Jyoti Rajjak.
On the occasion, Rakesh Lal said that Sahara India Pariwar is always eager to help those in need. He also said that every section of the society should come forward to help the poor and helpless people.
According to Lal, Subrata Roy’s Sahara India Pariwar, at present, is operating more than 35 social welfare programs, and will continue to do the same in the future with better planning and execution. The Sahara Franchise Manager also said that for the first time people will help the poor and needy openly.
Local dignitaries including Nandubir Ram, Pankaj Toppo, Mumtaz Ansari, Amjad Hussain, Kamal Khan, Suresh Ram, Pradeep Kumar, Vikram Pandey, Geeta Gupta, Premlata Patra, Kumari Sima, Anjali Sanyal, and Vivek Pandey actively participated in the blanket distribution, along with diligent workers of Sahara India Pariwar.
The Subrata Roy-led conglomerate has shown an avid interest in social and humanitarian activities throughout its operations. Sahara India Pariwar is also credited with the adoption of Kargil Martyrs’ families, as well as organizing various vocational education, Pulse Polio, Hepatitis-B immunization and Blood Donation camps.
