Envisioning a change in the lives of unprivileged sections of the society, the group is hosting a number of activities, bridging the gap between organization and the beneficiaries. The group has established multiple facilities like the L S Raheja Technical School, SL Raheja Hospital & Diabetic Research Center, and L S Raheja College of Arts & Architecture for a better future and equal growth of the poverty-stricken people.

The company has partnerships with NGOs, governments and other stakeholders. It also passionately supports the Marrow Donor Registry India (MDRI) – a registered NGO working towards sourcing of bone marrow donors. With all these steps, K Raheja Corp is surely making a substantial value addition to the society.

Contribution in the field of education

Chandru Raheja is a strong believer that the education has the power to change anything. Realizing the importance of the same, the group laid the foundation of LS Raheja College and L S Raheja Technical School. Other education initiatives by K Raheja Corp include elementary education facilities for site workers’ children, educational institutions under the Sadhna Education Society, and other institutions set up for Arts and Commerce.

One of the most influential step taken by K Raheja is the Teaching Tree, led by its business parks, Mindspace and NGOs Teach for India, Save the Children and others. The group believes that the education is like investment, which reaps the rewards in future.

Community Upkeep

K Raheja Corp has also taken up the drive to transform Hyderabad’s Durgam Chevuru Lake by partnering with TSIIC (Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation). Also known as Secret Lake because it is hidden between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur, its transformation will give the residents of Hyderabad a scenic spot in the city.

The group envisions to provide Hyderabad a clean waterfront, along with enhanced biodiversity with this project, which will transform the lake into a scenic space with facilities for health, entertainment, fitness, adventure and restoration. The work on this project began in May 2017.

Worker Welfare

Chandru Raheja has been a torchbearer for worker welfare. He makes sure that the last-mile laborer is taken care of with his belief of doing well to the people begins at home. The company provides medical care facilities and mobile crèches for all construction site workers. It also takes care of the health, sanitation and meals of their children.
