IIHMR University Introduces Executive Certificate Programme for Optimizing Corporate Social Responsibility

The School of Development Studies, IIHMR University has announced a three-week virtual executive certificate program on the theme of ‘Optimizing CSR for Greater Good’ from 23 September to 11 October 2020, in association with India CSR. The course is being offered at an affordable fee of Rs.7000/-.

The program is designed for the middle and senior corporate and development executives. They would have a great opportunity to learn about the changing CSR scenarios post COVID-19 pandemic as well as the desired CSR interventions on a larger scale. The program has been designed with innovative tools aiming at the integration of research-driven learning. The sessions in the workshop are being designed in an organized manner that the new CSR professionals can understand the policy formulations and future planning.

The initial group of enrolled participants have 21 middle and senior CSR executives from over 10 companies and development organizations.

During the inaugural session of for this program, Dr. P.R. Sodani, Pro-President, IIHMR University, laid special emphasis on the ever-changing role of strategic CSR to tackle the problems of COVID-19. Prof. Rahul Ghai explained how the IIHMR University is promoting CSR via specialized research-oriented education.

Commenting on the program’s launch, Mr. Rusen Kumar, Founder of India CSR, said that CSR has introduced a great opportunity to serve the society and learn from it. He also stressed that developing a relevant learning path for CSR leaders is the need of the hour. Program Coordinator Dr. Sazzad Parvez shared the details of the program.

After the completion of the program, a certificate of participation will be issued by IIHMR University, Jaipur.
