Women self-help groups marched from Baba Pahari to Takhuli on International Women’s Day

The woman of the day is growing at every step and her empowerment is celebrated every year on March 8, 2016. In order to acknowledge her growth, the International Women’s Day is celebrated that day, when her growth and her contribution in the Nation’s growth, is appreciated.

With the theme of ‘One step of progress, One step of self-dependency’, Hindustan Powerprojects’ CSR branch organised an event in Jaithari, Madhya Pradesh, where the women of the town made every person realise about their economic and social empowerment, across the state.

The women self-help groups of the town were holding slogans, bearing the messages of women empowerment while marching from Baba Pahari to Takhuli. Then all the participants took the oath of empowerment after the flag of women empowerment was hoisted. This event was organised in order to motivate the women for participating in every field of development.

The Chairman of Hindustan Powerprojects, Ratul Puri appreciated the Company’s CSR branch for organising such event in honour of the women. Ratul Puri congratulated all the women of 50 self-help groups, who participated from 38 villages along with that every lady, who is endeavouring to succeed in life, be it personal and professional.

No society can be developed without helping the women in her proper growth, is the philosophy of Hindustan Powerprojects, to which Ratul Puri also agrees. The power giant Chairman thinks that the woman leaves no stone unturned if all the requisite resources are provided to her. That is one of the reasons for establishing the self-help group so that the better half of men can ensure her growth and success in society, believes Ratul Puri.

From stage plays to nukkad naatak, from musical gala to sports events, every participating woman was appreciated and praised for her commendable performance and achievement in the event. With such ideologies, which encourage the women in society to keep going, there is a need to organise such events from time to time.
