GTL Limited helping hand towards humanity

GTL Limited has ventured to provide an added infrastructure to existing telecomm companies to expand the telecommunication services in our country. By rendering its own fixed base, the service providers can use their own capital fixtures for other activities and can concentrate on their core business. This has made GTL Limited a rage in the existing market among-st existing operators.

During the time, GTL has made a remarkable impact in society through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) affairs. The company has undertaken various health projects in rural areas to contribute its bit namely Project Medical Assistance, Project Arogya and Project Rakta Daan which clearly shows that company intends to bring positive synergy within commonality. Apart from the company’s effort to bring the prosperity through its various health programs amid under privileged ones, GTL Limited has launched Project Pralay as a means of executing O & M and Deployment contracts in rural India. This project was entrusted to help those who suffered from natural disasters like Tsunami, floods, earthquake etc.  In addition, company toiled a program in 2005 to encourage active employee volunteerism, whereby the aim was to bring human transformation through volunteerism and encourage culture of volunteerism between employees. Another project by name of Art of Giving was initiated to inculcate the feeling of charity within the organization for the beneficence of the Global Foundation. Company has also been actively involved in organizing fundraising events in Delhi and Mumbai.

Corporate Social Responsibility at GTL has been institutionalized as a way of life for many GTLites. We believe that CSR means much more, than extending commitment to all the stakeholders including the society. We believe that it is an integrated approach towards operating in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable manner. The focus is more of an inclusive approach taking care of the interests of investors, employees, business partners, customers, local communities, the environment and society at large.
