The founder of Funmi Ayinke Humanity Foundation, Dr Funmi Ayinke Waheed-Adekojo is impacting several lives through her campaigns to support the less privileged, elderly, orphans and vulnerable children. Most of her initiatives are aimed at helping those who are unable earn livelihood for themselves and their families.
Dr Funmi Ayinke understands that every individual is not able to acquire the required skills to be successful. At this juncture, she deems it important to look for such people and help them in their respective fields.
The statement released by the media of Funmi Ayinke Humanity Foundation stated that Funmi Ayinke was a born philanthropist and she aimed to give hope to the vulnerable societies. Her foundation offers engagement opportunities that help to build a network of philanthropists in Nigeria, besides bringing young adults and kids back to school.
“There is a challenge to the stereotypical of philanthropist in contemporary society. Wealthy Nigerians are from all corners of Nigeria, and their stories are inspiring,” said Funmi Ayinke.
“The impact of charity given by wealthy Nigerians testifies to the value of the philanthropy community. If we have more philanthropist available to all kind of donors, the Nigerian economy would be better,” she added.
Earlier, Funmi Ayinke Humanity Foundation had responded to the Covid-19 pandemic by donating pieces of equipment and machines, besides supporting businesses financially and making sure the efforts in charity bear fruits.
