Workers of Gili factory were made aware about family planning and its importance in a workshop on same topic. The Family Planning Workshop was conducted on July 11 which is marked as World Population Day. The workshop was attended by up to 100 workers including both men and women. The spokesperson invited to address the masses was Miss Patki, who is a social worker and came on behalf of L and T Health Center. She spoke about methods used for family planning including contraception, which is often considered as the easiest way. She also told about other methods as well which can be used in place of contraception.
The workshop was organized on suitable working hours without hampering the work schedule of factory workers. It was a well organized workshop which was appreciated by the workers and rest of the people.
