CSR at GTL: Making a Better World

GTL Limited has contributed a lot through its endeavors irrespective of orientation as business or corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Through its business ventures company has made a significant change in the industry by offering a capital fixed assets to service providers for improvement of telecommunication services in the country. Undoubtedly GTL is all fame as it has established 28,000 towers across India and has laid plans for another ream already. With its professional approach and sheer dedication GTL Limited has emerged as the world’s largest independent tower company. Not only company has brought a surge with its unique ideology for vocation, the discipline towards society is another aspect of its glittering aura.

This organization has been actively involved in undertaking various programs for the welfare of the people. As per the saying charity begins from home, GTL Limited has also launched various programs within the company by name of Project Pralay, Employee Volunteerism, Project – Art of Giving and a range of fundraising events to shape up the sentiment of charity and volunteerism amid employees.

To bring the rural sector of the nation on the same footing with others the company has instigated Project Medical Assistance to aid common from life threatening diseases, critical illness and fatal accidents. Also, Project Arogya – Preventive Health Care was a fair attempt to provide health awareness, free checkup and medicine for the rural people who can’t afford to go to hospitals through mobile health van in Sindhudurg district. In addition, GTL Limited also organized a blood donation camp by way of Project Rakta Daan to bring comfort for children suffering from Thalassemia.
