NGOs catering to the “children hunger” cause is exploring other nobel causes like organizing Blood Donation Camps

A noble cause cannot be restricted by time or place. If done that way, then a good deed is always appreciated and accepted by lots of people around the corner if meeting the required goal. One of those noble causes was initiated by Bengaluru-based children-centric NGO, Akshaya Patra, by organising three Blood Donation camps in Karnataka, one after another.

Akshaya Patra works towards eliminating hunger-related needs of primary school children because the NGO believes that the fight against illiteracy cannot be fought with an empty stomach. That is why Akshaya Patra is catering the primary need which will subsequently eradicate the secondary problem.

Lately, the NGO organised three blood donation camps in home turf state, Karnataka, to cater the needs of hospitals in the region and show its support towards them. These hospitals would not be facing the problems like lack of blood in near times.

The first blood donation programme was conducted at HK Hill on June 25, 2015, where 56 people took part and donated their blood. The second camp was organised on November 13, 2014, at Bellary, when 50 donors came forward to support the cause. Vasanthapura-based VK Hills witnessed the third blood donation camp on November 29, 2014, where 59 donors registered their names and participated in the noble cause.

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is always ready to cater the needs of each that sector where it can. Just like it did in 2014 by organising blood donation camps for supporting the hospitals in the region. The NGO would not mind taking the responsibility of such initiative in future as well. Akshaya Patra Donation camps are an inspiration for the mankind.
