Just One Call Away: Dhani App Launches COVID Care Initiative ‘Dhani Aapke Saath’

dhani App

Dhani app, the digital healthcare and financial services platform of the Indiabulls Group, has started a distribution drive which will see 25 lakh COVID Care Health Kits disbursed amongst the population. The total cost of the kits is Rs 90 crore and will benefit 50 lakh adults.

The initiative is a brainchild of the Indiabulls group to reach patients in tier 2 and 3 cities across India. Each kit is worth Rs 374 and has been prepared as per the guidance and recommendation of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Every single kit consists of 30 Vitamin C tablets, 4 Vitamin D3 tablets, 20 Zinc and 15 Paracetamol tablets.

Ankit Banga, Head of Marketing of the app, said that in most tier 2 and 3 cities pharmacies and chemist shops are not always accessible and this initiative would benefit the people in those areas.

Dr Smita Dash, Chief Medical Officer – Dhani Healthcare, cautioned that the distributed kits were not a substitute for COVID care. They are meant to assist in initial preventive care against COVID by strengthening the immunity of the beneficiaries.

Aptly named ‘Dhani Aapke Saath’, the initiative will also include Dhani’s panel of doctors who will be available 24×7 for free consultations through video calls.

Anyone can sign up as a beneficiary for this initiative by using the Dhani app or logging into pharmacy.dhani.com. Orders can be placed for free and video calls with doctors and other specialists will also be free of cost.

Talking about the initiative, Nikhil Chari, President of Dhani Healthcare said, “This kit will help boost immunity and if any individual develops any symptom such as fever, cough or throat infection could start using these medicines as an early care for Covid. Families can also connect with a Dhani doctor for free video consultations for any guidance.”
