On February 24, Rotary Karnataka CSR Conference 2018 will be held in Bangalore. The venue for the event is Hotel Shangri-La. Rotary International District 3190 is organizing the forum for the conference, which is powered by Mumbai-based Stem Learning – A Science Education Social Enterprise.
This conference is an initiative to celebrate the contributions of various stakeholder towards community service in various verticals. The contributions should basically be for the socio-economic development of Karnataka. By organizing such a forum, Rotary District 3190 will be celebrating its first Annual Karnataka CSR Conference.
Anil Kumar Radhakrishnan, Co-Chair, Rotary Karnataka CSR Conference 2018 & Finance Director at DFE Pharma India said, “We at Rotary International District 3190 always have community service at the core of our DNA and would like to recognize all the corporate citizens who are doing their mite towards this objective.”
Attendants of the forum will be ruminating upon certain predominant questions. These questions can include — are we touching Strategic CSR and sustainability in our activities for creating economic output and wealth? Are we giving back more to the society than what we take from it?, Are we making substantial impact towards improving HDI and aligning ourselves to SDG 2030? etc.
The Rotary Karnataka CSR Conference 2018 will be organized on the Rotary Foundation Day, the day on which rotary movement started 113 years back in Chicago.
