Story

When some undesirable event occurs in your life, you lose hope and you are almost shattered from inside. Right?
Wrong!

Well, I also realised it the moment I went through Manasi Joshi’s story on social media. She is not only a Para-Badminton player but a regular girl who does her job just like any other young one in his or her 20’s. I met with an accident two months back and put that semicolon on it till the time I came across her story. She could spend her whole life crying over this thing, blame her disability (which has become her strength now) in every situation and leave everything on her luck. But her courage, enthusiasm, willpower and never-give-up attitude led her towards success and recognition.

Winning her first tournament at Atos Mumbai Badminton Championship, after that road accident which changed her entire life, it boosted her confidence to proceed on the path of success. And that’s the day till date that she didn’t turn back to cry over the unfortunate event, rather she decided to make her life extraordinary with her passion. The girl not only participated in many National and International championships but also proved her mettle in the same.
Her story inspired me so much, that I would not say that she came over her disability; rather she came over her fear of failure in life, her fear of giving up on her passion, her fear of not living a normal life and most importantly her fear of being dependent on others.

If nothing stops her in this position, what can stop us in ours? She is not only an inspiration for me and other people who meet with some accident, but an inspiration for each of us, to believe in ourselves and never give up in life.
